Sanchi Aggarwal is an Indian photographer born in the capital city of India, New Delhi.

In her 4 years of photography career, she worked with many International brands like Nat Geo, The Hindu and World Atlas. She likes new challenges and has covered a wide range of photographic genres, including portraiture, street and commercial .

Her work has been appeared in many editorials like National Geographic, The Hindu, Deccan Herald, Indian Express, The Delhi City Magazine, World Atlas, Huffing post, Travellink Magazine to name a few.

Sanchi is a trained engineer in Electronics and Communication, she realised that there is an innate creative urge in her to communicate with the world beyond machines and tools.  As a result of which she chose photography as a medium of creative expression. This is the medium, she feel, that has the power and ability to overcome the barrier of language, it is the universal language that shares the joy of victory and sadness of defeat transcending all communication barriers. It enables expressions and emotions of all shades that unfold as lives move on.

To further her professional pursuit and commitment to advance the cause of the disadvantaged groups, she have undertaken several photo story projects – some of which are:

• Life of an orphan girl at Holy Child Asha Niwas, Nazafgarh, New Delhi
• Camel sellers at Pushkar, Ajmer
• Sai Ashram- Dog sanctuary, Chhatarpur, New Delhi

These have been widely appreciated and acknowledged.

She is continually inspired by these and similar stories and want to bring them to the forefront through her lens.

My venture into the world of photography is the modest endeavour to realize my creative urge to become the voice of the voiceless creatures and create awareness among humans about the plight of such creatures.

Humankind longs for immortality wants to leave behind his/her image as off springs. Photography as an art form is part of that desire to be immortal.

Being a sensitive and gentle person, I am respectful of the environment and all flora and fauna around me. This makes it easy for me to merge and become one with whatever situation, context and people maybe. I am an easy communicator and dislike jargon.  I am easy to connect with people and adjust in any kind of environment. I am not a slave of habit or leisure or comfort. I can be on my own as well as be a team player as well.

To sharpen my instincts and skill, it was necessary to acquire technical know how and I earned my Diploma in Photography in 2014 under the guidance of India’s finest photographer Raghu Rai .
